JetBlue has seen sizable increases in revenue and traffic to its Spanish-language mobile website, thanks to translation and optimization efforts by MotionPoint, a story in Fort Lauderdale\u2019s Sun Sentinel<\/i> reports.<\/p>\n

According to the story, overall revenue from JetBlue\u2019s Spanish mobile site has increased by more than 300% since its debut last year. JetBlue has been a MotionPoint client since 2008.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re definitely seeing a significant increase in revenue,\u201d said Maryssa Miller, JetBlue\u2019s head of digital commerce.<\/p>\n

Last year, JetBlue realized that many of its U.S. Hispanic customers were using smartphones to research flights and book trips. MotionPoint leveraged translations from JetBlue\u2019s Spanish desktop website to easily launch a mobile version.<\/p>\n

But MotionPoint\u2019s involvement didn\u2019t end there. \u201cWe\u2019re optimizing these websites, not just translating them,\u201d said Charles Whiteman, MotionPoint\u2019s SVP of Client Services. \u201cWe\u2019re really expanding our customers\u2019 footprints in markets where it\u2019s really important to them.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
